Alabama Hospital Association taps new officers, board members
The Alabama Hospital Association has elected a new slate of officers and board members.
Glenn Sisk, CEO of Coosa Valley Medical Center in Sylacauga, was named board chairman at the group’s annual meeting in June. Huntsville Hospital Health System CEO David Spillers is the chair-elect. He will take over as chairman in June 2016.
UAB Health System CEO Dr. Will Ferniany was appointed secretary/treasurer.
Other Alabama Hospital Association board members for 2015-16 are:
Owen Bailey, administrator of USA Children’s & Women’s Hospital in Mobile;
Neeysa Biddle, CEO of St. Vincent’s Health System in Birmingham;
Jeff Brannon, CEO of Monroe County Hospital in Monroeville;
Keith Granger, president and CEO of Trinity Medical Center in Birmingham;
Dean Griffin, senior vice president of Huntsville Hospital Health System;
Keith Parrott, president and CEO of Baptist Health System in Birmingham; and
Christine Stewart, CEO of Russellville Hospital.
Based in Montgomery, the hospital association represents more than 100 hospitals and numerous other health care providers across the state.
